I'm kind of wondering if anyone else would find it helpful to break up the postings just a bit into postings that require professional (typically journalism) experience and postings that do not? It would definitely make it easier for folks to narrow in on the jobs they're qualified for. 67.149.76.108 02:09, September 9, 2014 (UTC)

  • What you propose makes sense to me, but I am not in this field. This page currently lacks an administrator in the field who could implement such an organizational scheme (I can't take it on right now, and also this isn't my area of expertise). If you are interested in administering and reorganizing the page, let me know (admins. do need to create a user ID). Una74 (talk) 20:57, September 9, 2014 (UTC)
  • I don't see a need to break it up any more. Each listing already includes the field.  You can scan for keywords that match your specialty and the rank you desire (for example, Assistant Professor in Rhetoric, Associate Professor of New Media). Also, I wouldn't say that professional experience in this field is "typically" anything as specific as journalism. There are a wide range of specialties here as you can tell from the list at the bottom of the page.

What is going on with the updates to this page?  The recent activity isn't appearing properly for me at least.68.43.116.84 17:06, November 13, 2014 (UTC)

  • Not sure what issue you are referring to exactly. There was a lock on edits earlier this morning for general Wikia system maintence; that has passed however. There is often a slight delay in updates being shown on the RSS feed displayed at the top of the page. If you want more instant updates, I would recommend subscribing to the page's RSS feed through whatever RSS reader works best for you. Hope this helps. Una74 (talk) 19:20, November 13, 2014 (UTC)
