Research Officer – Rock Art (4 year contract position)

We are looking to appoint a researcher with a specialisation in rock art studies. The successful candidates will hold a doctoral degree and will have the ability to: conduct independent field research, publish papers in top international journals, present papers at international conferences and participate in the daily running of RARI. The primary appointment criterion will be proven research excellence in global rock art studies, but preference will be given to candidates with interests in southern African San rock art research.
