The Department of Anthropology at Mount Allison University invites applications for a full-time 12-month term position. This appointment will be made at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor.The successful candidate will be required to teach the following: ANTH 2501 Environment and Society; ANTH 3031 Indigenous Knowledge Systems; ANTH 3541 Ethnobotany; an intermediate level ethnography course on a region of their choice; and a 4000 level seminar course in the candidate’s area of expertise.Candidates ought to have completed, or be in the process of completing, a Ph.D. in Anthropology or a related field and preferably will have previous teaching experience.
