Responsibilities

The College of Professional Studies welcomes applicants for a full time academic specialist who will play a leading role in developing and maintaining a high quality curriculum in Finance for our AACSB accredited programs.

This is a non-tenure track position. The academic specialist will work closely with the program office to provide continuing program development and oversight. Responsibilities Include: teaching performance, student advising, developing course content and materials, curriculum review and updating, supporting admissions and recruiting activities and serving on faculty and college committees. Nights and some weekends may be required. The successful candidate will be expected to publish in peer-reviewed journals, along with his or her teaching and administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications

This position requires a commitment to teaching excellence and a high-level of student service. A strong record of teaching experience appropriate at the undergraduate level is expected and required. Substantial real-world professional experience within the field is highly desirable. Candidates must have a terminal degree in finance or managerial economics along with documented success teaching online. Evidence of ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals in the field is required.
