They don't seem to have caught on to the fact--or perhaps more accurately, they just don't care, like most other elite institutions--that more and more quality scholars who would make a fine addition to any department are having to take post-doc after post-doc (if they're even that lucky) while competing with persons who already hold full time TT jobs for new lines. Good luck to all in this dog-eat-dog world.
