When posting new jobs:

  • When posting new jobs, please use Heading 2 for new categories, and Heading 3 for jobs.
  • Add entries in alphabetical order. (Note that "University of X" should be alphabetized by U as first sort, and X as second sort within the U listings.

Austin College (USA:TX) - [Non-TT]Edit

  • Visiting General Chemistry Laboratory Instructor - 1 year, beginning Fall 2017.
  • M.S. or above.
  • Responsibilities will include teaching of multiple sections of General Chemistry I (Fall) & II (Spring) laboratory as well as the laboratory setup.
  • Applicants should have strong commitments to teaching.
  • To apply - combine the following materials into one PDF document: letter of application, curriculum vitae, copies of graduate transcripts, three letters of reference, and a 2-page statement of teaching philosophy via email to ChemistrySearch@austincollege.edu  (preferred) with Gen Chem in the subject line.
  • Referees should send their letters to the same email address with your name in the subject line.
  • Review of applications begins March 21st and continues until positions are filled.


Austin College (USA:TX) - [Non-TT] Edit

  • Organic Chemistry Lab Instructor/Science Program Coordinator beginning June 2017. 
  • M.S. or above.
  • Responsibilities will include setup and maintenance of Organic teaching labs, teaching multiple sections of Organic Chemistry I (fall) & II (spring) laboratory, and support for the STAR Leadership Program in sciences.
  • Applicants should have strong commitments to teaching and experience in organic chemistry.
  • To apply - combine the following materials into one PDF document: letter of application, curriculum vitae, copies of graduate transcripts, three letters of reference, and a 2-page statement of teaching philosophy via email to ChemistrySearch@austincollege.edu  (preferred) with Org Chem in the subject line. 
  • Referees should send their letters to the same email address with your name in the subject line.
  • Review of applications begins March 21stand continues until positions are filled.
